Organize your cards

You can organize your flashcards into folders, and you can archive the ones you no longer want to review.

Folders

You can create folders to group your cards by subject. A card belongs to exactly one folder, and cards you have not put anywhere are in Unsorted.

Each folder can be reviewed on its own. Review today goes through the cards in that folder that are due, and Free review goes through all of them without changing any due dates. See Review for the difference between the two.

Deleting a folder does not delete the cards in it. They move to Unsorted.

Archiving cards

Archiving a card takes it out of your reviews but keeps the card. Its content, its folder, and its review history all stay. Winda simply stops scheduling it, so it never comes due again.

You can restore an archived card at any time. It picks up its old schedule, so a card that was already due comes back due right away.

Cards and the content they came from

Deleting the content a card came from does not delete the card. Drafts are the exception: they are deleted with their content. Every card keeps the passage it was made from, so it still makes sense on its own. The only thing you lose is the link back to the source.
