Introduction
Winda is a read-it-later app that also helps you remember. You can save what you want to read, read it with AI, and practice with flashcards.
You can use Winda to learn a language, prepare for an exam, or move into a new field.
Your library
Your library holds everything you have saved to read. Winda supports web pages, YouTube videos, PDFs, Word and PowerPoint files, images, and plain text.
You can read inside Winda, with an AI panel beside the text. Winda can also translate a web page, or turn anything in your library into a guided lesson.
See Reading for what Winda can read and what it can do with a passage.
Practice
Practice holds the flashcards you have made. A flashcard is a question on one side and its answer on the other.
You can make a card from a passage while you read, generate a set from a whole document, or write one yourself. Winda then asks you each card on a spaced-repetition schedule: the ones you get right come back less and less often, and the ones you forget come back sooner.
See Make flashcards for the ways a card gets made, and Review for how the schedule works.
The browser extension
The browser extension works on any page on the web, whether or not you have saved it. It opens in a sidebar beside the page.
You can select text, ask about it, or turn it into a flashcard. You can also save the page itself, which works behind a login or a paywall, because Winda reads it from your tab.
See Browser extension for how to add it to Chrome and what it can do.
