Cards and decks

A card holds one thing worth remembering; a deck holds the cards you decide to keep.

Two kinds of card

A card is either a flashcard or a multiple-choice question, and one deck can hold both.

A flashcard has a question and an answer: you recall the answer, turn the card over, and say whether you had it. A multiple-choice question grades itself the moment you answer. Most have one right option; when several are right, you have to pick them all, and a partial answer counts as wrong.

Making cards

Cards come from three places:

• From a passage. Select text while you read and Winda writes cards from it. Selecting text in a chat reply works the same way.
• From a whole document. Winda reads it and proposes a set of cards.
• By hand. Write a card yourself, directly in a deck.

Decks

A card belongs to exactly one deck, and you can move it to another at any time.

Sharing a deck

You can share a deck as a public page. Anyone with the link can open it, no Winda account needed.
